Daniel F. Harrington founded Chartwell Wealth Management in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He holds his Series 7 General Securities Representative license in addition to Series 63 and Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative Licences. He is also a registered life insurance agent and a Series 24 licensed General Securities Principal.

Mr. Harrington is a renowned monthly columnist for The Providence Journal. He is a former member of the East Providence City Council where he acted as liaison to the East Providence Police & Fire Pension Board. He is the former Foundation Board Chair of the Lynn Healthcare Center and past Chair of the Economic Development Committee for the East Providence Chamber of Commerce. Mr Harrington currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barrington Christian Academy
